- Comment : Nice Filly who looks a real two year old- get into her early
- Trainer : Tony Gollan
We all have seen over the years the lack of two year old runners in Queensland with Quality so this year we have had a real focus on trying to buy those sorts of horses.
This filly was a very easy horse to purchase
Yarraman Farm – one of the most successful nurseries not only in Australia but the world
Hellbent does have a sex bias and its definitely to his fillies – horses like Magic Time- Kristilli, Benedetta etc
The family side of this family is what gives us extra confidence as the Dam was a Group 3 horse on paper but she had Group 1 ability and has since thrown 4 foals with 2 Stakes level horse and another that the Waterhouse Camp feel is a on a Group 1 Derby path- so she certainly is one of the better broodmares in Australia with such an impressive record. The reports say Wolf Moon was a Group horse before having injury issues and Economics at one stage was spoken about as a Stallion prospect !!
Given her half brother by SO You Think is on a Group 1 Derby path we also get a chance to double our money before we race if her brother can win a big Race like the Derby – these residual plus fillies will have good upside later in life when they go to be a broodmare
This filly should run early like her siblings and we are thinking before Xmas
