🏇 This weekend, we’re back in action across Eagle Farm, Rosehill, and Caulfield. Wishing the best of luck to all our owners, trainers, and jockeys involved. Here’s a look at our runners and Luke’s thoughts on their chances. 🤞🍀
📍 Eagle Farm
Race 4 – 1:28pm – Rising Pacific
In career best form but this is a step up – ideally wants a rock hard track and fast pace and gets neither – good enough to win but each way confidence is dinted by the set up so confidence is 4/10
📍 Rosehill
Race 5 – 1:55pm – Rogue Bear
He is a real tradesman who gives his all every run – he normally takes a run fresh but this is his right grade and class – however his best hope is better into the prep. Place confidence is 4/10
Race 7 – 2:30pm – Smashing Time
Not going well the horse on recent form and is very much in and out – each way confidence is 2/10 – this is too hard
Race 8 – 3:05pm – Don Diego De Vega
A quality beast on his day – he didn’t come up last prep when off an injury and this prep has been better for him
2000m is a tick and on class he will go very close – each way confidence is 7/10
📍 Caulfield
Race 6 – 2:55pm – Kettle Hill
He is an awesome roughie here – good gate and whilst he would prefer more tempo I like him fresh – as long as he doesn’t get exposed early he can be dangerous late – ew confidence is 6/10
