### Today's Racing Selections: A Look at the Key Contenders
Welcome to our look at today's racing, where we're diving into some intriguing prospects across Port Macquarie, Flemington, Rosehill, and Wyong. We've got a mix of promising runners and conditional favourites, so let's break down where the value might be.
#### Port Macquarie, Race 2, 2:26 pm - Risk and Famous
Risk and Famous is a horse that has shown plenty of promise in trials, but we're yet to see that translate to race day. This is undoubtedly the easiest field he has faced, which puts him in with a chance. However, he remains a pick based on trust rather than proven form. He's an each-way chance, but we're proceeding with a cautious 4/10 confidence.
#### Flemington, Race 5, 2:30 pm - Golden Crusader
Golden Crusader is back on the track after a spell, and it's hard to ignore the dominant 12-length victory he secured in his last start. While he's clearly got ability, we expect he'll need this run to get back to his best. Look for him to run better than his starting price suggests, but he's not a betting proposition for us just yet. He's one for the black book, with our each-way confidence at 2/10 for today.
#### Rosehill, Race 8, 4:35 pm - Vauban
In a competitive field, the class of Vauban makes him the main danger to the favourite, Aeliana. He has returned in excellent form, and the expected race shape should play right into his hands. There is a slight query around whether he prefers his races spaced further apart, but he presents a strong case. Our each-way confidence sits at a solid 6/10.
#### Wyong, Race 8, 5:40 pm - Lord of Biscay
Lord of Biscay is the horse with the most class in this race, but his chances are entirely dependent on the track conditions. If the ground is a Dead 5 or better, he is the clear one to beat with a bit of luck in running. However, if the rain comes and the track is wet, our confidence would be completely gone. On a drier surface, our each-way confidence is a high 8/10.
