1.55pm – Rosehill - Race 6 Written Scandal She has good talent but first up seems to be suitable for her and gets a soft inside draw – 1100m fresh looks great but it’s a race with 8 chances- ew confidence is 5/10

2.03pm- Eagle Farm- Race 5- Pereille Pereille has the talent of a favourite and the luck of a bloke who buys the one losing raffle ticket. He gets “Jmac” who knows him so well and if he gets there it will be the last bound so Followers of this horse is not for the faint-hearted. Owners should keep their cardiologist on standby. $4.60 about a horse with a short sprint and gets right back- not for me but ew confidence is 7/10 as the horse is airborne

2.15pm- Newcastle- Race 5- Twoexcel A handy track and distance winner last start and it’s a good positive coming here fresh- she is a quality well bred filly but I just feel off my ratings she will come up 3-4 lens short of what will likely be required- not completely “penning” but wont be backing her- ew confidence 3/10

2.30pm – Rosehill- Race 7- Midnight Opal Was much improved last start and some of his best numbers are here and his record being 6 starts 2 wins-1-1 with only the one poor run. Pushing forward with the claim looks to suit. That $10 looks super enticing about a horse that can win – ew confidence is 7/10

2.30pm – Rosehill- Race 7- Silvanito One of the most frustrating yet talented horses we have- If things going wrong where an Olympic Sport for this horse he would have more gold than the Aussie Swim team- he can win but gets limited tempo and forced to go back so I think he will flash and look unlucky- ew confidence 4/10

3.05pm- Rosehill- Race 8- Sayedaty Sadaty A race we have won a few times over the years- and don’t let this guy get under your guard- it feels a bit like when talking about this horse that if the excuses where dollars than he we would be richer than Warren Buffett- but stick with him- I think he will surprise – ew confidence is 6/10. The big push here is if he was coming off a close 2nd or 3rd id be like a Rooster in the Henhouse ( plenty of confidence !) I think you should stick with him

3.45pm- Rosehill race 9 -Miss busslinger Her last few barriers have been 21 – 18- 19- 12- 17 – so this inside draw of Barrier 2 seems weirdly wrong !!!! It’s a deep race but a winnable race . She works harder than an ugly stripper so you know you will get a run for your money- but is she good enough- I have 8 chances in the race but do think you will get 15/1 on the day and worth a small play- ew confidence is 5/10

4.30pm- Eagle Farm- Race 9 – Vauban There is an old saying when the pressure is on class doesn’t disappear it shows up and I think Vauban will do this today. He went super in a race that was super tough last start and im banking on POJ not running the trip and setting it up for a run on horse- ew confidence is 8/10

4.30pm- Eagle Farm- Race 9- Royal Supremacy Royal Supremacy is a bit like a family member who only turns up at Christmas—when he arrives, you're delighted to see him, but you never quite know when that'll be. If he runs to his Group 1 Metropolitan win then he will be in the finish – but off a below par effort his very must on trust- ew confidence is 4/10
